Locals, guests and members are welcome to pop in to enjoy this unique space at The Retreat. Home to Signet Stores, our Wine Cellar and our Hair & Nail Salon, The Courtyard is a perfect sun-trap, ideal for catching up with friends, refueling during a bike ride or simply enjoying your own company.
During the warmer months The Courtyard hosts a range of events, from live music to farmers markets.
Our new shop - The Stores - will open in March 2024.
At the heart of The Courtyard is The Stores. A great choice of gifts and souvenirs is complemented with fine groceries, coffee and cake to take away and more. Open from Thursday 28th March.

Our Lay & Wheeler wine cellar, located in The Courtyard, is open every day to hotel guests and locals. Pop in for a browse and pick up something special to go with dinner!
