Ramsbury Brewery & Distillery

Less than 10 miles from The Retreat is the magnificent Ramsbury Estate, home of the Ramsbury Brewery and Distillery. Over the last two decades Ramsbury has firmly established itself as an innovative and beloved brand, known for its high-quality, single-estate craft vodka and gin and craft beers and winning global recognition for its commitment to sustainability and a farm-to-glass philosophy.

The Retreat has partnered with Ramsbury to offer our guests a 10% discount on their fascinating tours, allowing visitors to learn about the craft brewing and distilling processes and explore the unique blend of heritage and innovation.

Tour Details:

  • Every Friday & Saturday 1pm or the last Friday of the month 6:30pm
  • Lasting up to 1.5 hours
  • Guests go into the brewery & distillery with an in-depth tour of how Ramsbury products are designed
  • Starting at £25 per person, with a 10% discount
  • 10% discount in the shop after the tour
  1. Please Note
    • If you are not planning to drive please ensure you pre-book a taxi or arranged alternative transport.
    • Soft drinks are available on site, and there is a *Drivers’ Pack for guests who won’t be drinking on the day. This pack includes a pre-picked selection to take home and enjoy later. Just let the tour guide know at the start of the tour if you’d like one.
    • Ramsbury Estates operates a Challenge 25 policy – if you are lucky enough to look under 25, please take your ID
    • Dogs, children and babies cannot be taken on the tour.
    • It is recommended that you wear “sensible clothing” and closed-shoe footwear, as you’ll be passing through active work areas. While the tour itself takes place indoors, you will move between buildings via outdoor spaces – so if it’s raining, you may get wet briefly.
    • The brewery, distillery and shop is suitable for those requiring wheelchair access
