Getting to us

  1. By Car

    Satellite Navigation: RG20 8NJ

    We are conveniently located between Hungerford and Newbury and easily accessible from the M4, A34 and A4.

  2. By Train

    Here are three railway stations within easy reach of The Retreat. We would recommend coming to Hungerford or Kintbury.

    Kintbury

    Just 2 miles away this is an unstaffed rural station on the banks of the Kennet & Avon Canal - a charming rural start to your country break. You will need to order a taxi in advance.

    Hungerford

    A delightful market town, about 4 miles away. The station is not staffed, and there may be taxis around, however we would recommend booking in advance.

    Newbury

    Newbury station is about 7 miles away and is fully staffed, and there are usually taxis around the station.

    Taxis

    Whichever station you choose, it is a good idea to book your taxi in advance and we recommend Take me Home James who you can contact on 07498 550 526

  3. By Plane

    The Retreat is well located for all of London's Airports.

    We are 55 minutes from London Heathrow, 1 hour 30 minutes from London Gatwick and 2 hours from London City.
